About
I’m Jordan, a designer and photographer based in Redwood City, California. I’m passionate about creating research-driven, innovative products and services that deliver transformative user experiences. My design philosophy is user-centered and empathy-driven, focusing on creating solutions that are both intuitive and enjoyable to use.
My extensive experience in design, coupled with coursework in graphic design, human factors engineering, design thinking, information architecture, and interaction design, equips me to tackle diverse design projects with creativity and insight.
In addition to my work in design, I am an avid film photographer. I specialize in capturing landscape, architecture, and nature photography, aiming to evoke emotion and highlight the beauty in every scene. My approach to photography blends my design sensibilities with a deep appreciation for detail and composition. I hope my work brings a touch of beauty and inspiration to your life.
Bio
In May 2021, I earned my M.S. in Design + Innovation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My design interest began after completing a B.A. in History and French, inspired by an online design course that ignited my passion for solving problems using creativity and analytical thinking while focusing on keeping users’ needs front and center.
I’ve gained diverse experience in UX design and research through roles such as UX Analyst at TECKpert, where I worked on user research and wireframe design; as a member of the Web Services Usability and Assessment Team at UW-Madison Libraries, focusing on usability testing; and as a Digital Product Assistant at Building Brave, where I contributed to design research and prototype development.
I’m currently a UX Designer & Researcher at Infosec, where I lead UX research and design for Infosec IQ, a security awareness training platform, and Infosec Skills, a cybersecurity training and skill development platform.
